We’re excited to share this with you! Our debut original single...
On the surface it’s a catchy, roots style Kiwi song, smooth in its delivery of a summery theme... exactly as it’s intended to be. Laid back cruising through a sunny Aotearoa summer with good friends, whanau, aroha, beaches and great tunes.
Warm guitar hooks that support passionate vocals all bound together with soulful groove and beats. Everything that is White Chapel Jak. A good time.
Dig a little deeper though and you’ll notice the depth of the lyrics and the introspective journey into self awareness, empowerment and finding ones true self amidst all the noise and challenges thrown at our souls.
So that is Good Time. A melodic Kiwiana tune overlapped with a positive, empowering message.
For us as a band, this song represents all of that and much more. It is an experience encompassing of our entire journey to this point. A musical odyssey of friendship, whanau, of growth, challenges, dreams, a tonne of hard work but above all else, a journey of aroha.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all so much for following us this far on our music journey. We wouldn't be able to do any of this without you guys. It’s moments like this playing in front of 15,000 people with the Auckland Symphony Orchestra that we have to pinch ourselves. There’s lots more to come in many ways this is just the beginning for White Chapel Jak.
